The Resort

Regarded as a ‘home beach resort’ with local Malay-style architecture, Wisana Village, Redang Island is a seafront heaven. It is located on the private beach of Teluk Kalong Kechil, which is known for its white sandy beach, crystal clear waters and panoramic views of neighboring islands such as Kerengga Island, Ekor Tebu Island, Lima Island, Chupak Island and Bidong Island. This setting promises spectacular tropical surroundings.

Our resort is situated in a remarkable natural setting and guarded by charming people. Our house reef is just around the corner and it is home to a few remaining live coral and colorful fish. More to this, our seafront is home to turtles. Wisana Village is sure to awaken your senses while making you feel at home.

This setting is perfect for those who seek a private and intimate vacation. The resort, which is the only one on the private beach, provides limited accommodations within an area of 150 x 50 meters.

All of our rooms offer a sea view with a balcony. In fact, all of our accommodations are just a few steps from the beach and sea. Children can play at the beach while you watch and relax from your balcony or our open-air, communal reading area. Our guests also enjoy our combination of delicious Malay style food and Western meals.

Wisana's Accommodations

Hidden by lush tropical gardens, Wisana Village, Redang Island offers 10 rooms, including 4 Standard Terrace units, 4 Private Chalet units and 2 Standard Duplex units. In order to preserve peace and serenity during your stay, we have limited our place to only 36 guests at any one time.

Our Standard Terrace is a wooden longhouse room for twin, triple or quad sharing. The room come with 2 queen beds, a wardrobe, chest-drawer, air conditioning, private bathroom with hot shower facility and free toiletries. Each room is equipped with a bath and hand towel, while a beach towel is provided upon request.

Our stand-alone Private Chalet is a rustic, Malay-style wooden chalet suitable for couples and families who appreciate more privacy. We offer 2 types of Private Chalets: Deluxe and Superior Chalets. Our Deluxe Chalet comes with 1 king-sized bed, a wooden wardrobe, laundry basket, dressing table, private bathroom with hot shower facility and free toiletries. 

Our Superior Chalet come with 2 queen beds, a wardrobe, chest-drawer, air conditioning, private bathroom with hot shower facility and free toiletries. Our Superior Chalet is for twin, triple and quad sharing. Both rooms are equipped with a bath and hand towel, while a beach towel is provided upon request.

Our Standard Duplex is a suitable choice for families. It is a semi-detached concrete villa with a Malay-style roof framework. Each room comes with 2 queen beds, a wardrobe, chest-drawer, air conditioning, private bathroom with hot shower facility and free toiletries. Each room is equipped with a bath and hand towel, while a beach towel is provided upon request. A perfect choice for large families would be 2 Standard Duplex units.

Every room offers a balcony, as well as a spectacular panoramic view of the sea and neighboring islands. The main beach is just a few steps from each room for sunbathing, swimming and even snorkeling. Wisana Village is a true beach home!

Kerengga View Café

Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner while overlooking the sea and Kerengga Island from Kerengga View Café. Your daily meals will be served here buffet style with offerings of both Malay and Western cuisine. Our café is open 7.30am–11.00pm, while coffee and tea are conveniently available 24 hours a day, just to add your home experience.

Seaview Lobby

No home is complete without a guest lounge, a place where friends and family can sit and mingle with other guests from different parts of the world. We encourage our guests to share their travel stories with each other. Our open-air lobby includes an LCD television with satellite channels, as well as board games and card games. Here, guests can also relax while reading their favourite book or listening to music.

Recreation Center

Our recreation center offers snorkelling trip, private charter boat, round island trip, boat taxi, jungle hiking & kayaking. Our diving facility is temporarily closed. Dive trip can be arranged at nearest dive center. Please get our reception staff to assist upon your arrival.
